Galileo Resources Plc is a focused rare earth elements (REEs) exploration and development company. The company has an exceptional management team with proven REEs technical and commercial background. The flagship property is the Glenover Phosphate concession, which was a successful phosphate producer for many years. Phosphate however, is now subordinated to REEs. The project area contains significant REEs of good grades and the project shows the propensity to be a key producer in the future REEs arena.
One of the key benefits of the project for a medium-sized operation is the fact that some 3 million tonnes of REEs are contained in stockpiles from the previous phosphate operation thus negating the technical and financial risk of mining.
The concession is of considerable size and hosts mineralisation types suitable for potential REEs presence. The company has developed a significant REEs resource and is currently undertaking a preliminary economic assessment managed by GBM, the United Kingdom engineering company. The results of this study are expected to be released first quarter 2012.
The company acquired in July 2012 a 70% interest in Rare Earth International (REI) a company with REEs interest in Zambia and Mozambique. The Zambian property Nkombwa Hills has drill holes and trenching information which suggests that a large, high grade REEs project is possible. Galileo Resources Plc has carried out initial exploration and intends to launch a drill programme towards the end of fourth quarter 2012. The Mozambique project Xiluvo is somewhat smaller and is currently under evaluation to determine its future status in the company.
Against the aforementioned Galileo Resources Plc has a near production project in the form of Glenover Phosphate and a significant brown fields project in the form of Nkombwa Hills.
Galileo Resources Plc is dedicated to sustainable and socially responsible development and, as a company, ensures its projects adhere to the highest environmental standards. The company is also a firm proponent for the role of foreign direct investment as a key form of social development in developing African countries.

OUR MISSION The strategy is to provide the World with alternative, substantial resource of rare rarth elements.
